October '12- Mommy's Favorite Month!

6th- Link is not waiting for Christmas for his two front teeth! They are huge and busting through!

For breakfast we got to see Aunt KC and Uncle Jim! It was great catching up and talking about how advanced our boy is (child psychologists words, not mine :).

We went to dinner with my dear cousin Jameson at El Rodeo! During this dinner Link happily sat in his high hair the entire time! He hulk smashed some toys and stared at old men but mommy got to eat a HOT meal! (Rare)

7th- Happy 6th Birthday to Jonny boy! Links cousin had an awesome pirate party that we all enjoyed! Jorma dressed up as a pirate, got shot at with cannons (water balloons), and made a treasure chest piñata! He was the star of the show once again! Ink was finally able to interact and crawl around inside. He loved chewing on balloons, that thankfully never popped. Then he slept through all the outside events in the Ergo. Jonny was a great looking pirate, Téa a mermaid and Gabby was an ADORABLE baby pirate! She melted hearts despite the 50 degree weather! The sexiest pirate, I would have to say, was Jorma for sure!!! Mommy is a sucker for eyeliner!

Speaking of sexy pirates, this night was our first date in 8 months! We had a wonderful time eating on the bar side if Kanki. It was a blast being able to enjoy Jorma fully without 'mommy thoughts' speeding through my brain. The food was AMAZING, the best Kanki dinner I have ever had! We had a great first date and got many adorable Link updates from Ukki, who was babysitting. Link did a great job and was very happy to spend time with his grandparents!

9th- Kamie came for a visit! She drive up from FL and spent a whole day with us. She was amazed at how fast Link is progressing and predicts he'll be walking before 9 months! Link got some great new toys from Mimi that he loves! She also took care of the sick mama and helped a ton with Link. It was so nice being on the other side of motherhood and reminded how much better mommy can make you feel!

We ended up staying close to a week in Raleigh just visiting everyone! What a fun time it was! Thank you Mummi and Ukki for letting us crash there so long!

Alas, we made it home. After a good nights sleep in our own family bed, Link woke up happy as a hog! So we enjoyed Greenville while we could before the move. That meant parks, laying on the couch for Susi (she will be outside soon), and getting one last meal at our favorite eateries.

14th- The move to paradise has begun! With great help from friends and family we fit all our possessions into a 20' Uhaul!!! We had to wait for the painters to finish so there our stuff stayed until the 16th.

20th-  Link's first trip to the fair!  Link went with mommy, Tina, John and Tina's brother to the NC state fair. He loved watching all the people and especially the Motorcross show!  He practically flapped his little arms the whole time!  He was simply pooped by the end of the day (and so was mommy).

31st- Link's first Halloween!  Guess who he was?!  LINK!  We just couldn't help ourselves!  Our festivites included going to Apex to visit with the cousins and see their costumes.  We had a grand time at their school park!  We then headed to see Mummi & Ukki and spent the night with them.  Link went to watch trick or treaters at Crabtree Valley Mall and got TONS of compliments on his costume!  A girl even wanted to take his picture!  (I hesitantly obliged)
